Apolo and Daphne
We’ll be staging a musical comedy of the baroque period based on the myth of ‘Apolo and Daphne’, which tells of the conflict of Apolo and Cupid for the love of the nymph Daphne. The first act was written by the celebrated Sebastián Durón and the second by Juan de Navas to a series of lively dance rhythms.
