Details

Drama and romance are palpable in this production of Shakespeare’s most famous romantic comedy. ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ lures the audience into a delightful dreamscape where a mischievous fairy’s spell turns happily ever after on its head. A night with supernatural effects, fairies, romantic misadventures, and fantasy characters, the story evolves in a mysterious and magical place. In a world of suspension, the production travels from reality to imagination with a unique sense of harmony.

Midsummer Night’s Dream, A Sensory Friendly Performance – Sensory Friendly Performances offer accommodations, striving to provide an environment that is nonjudgmental and supportive, coupled with performance modifications and changes in behavioral expectations. Patrons may freely respond to shows in their own way and without judgment, and are welcome to do things like sing or dance. A variety of other modifications help to provide a comfortable environment: omission of strobe lights and sudden loud noises, relaxed house rules, reduction of sound levels, and elimination of startling special effects. Sensory Friendly Performances have a welcoming environment for families with young children, young first-time performance goers, or those with sensory sensitivities.
