"Magnificat"

Overview

The Credo Community Choir of Dallas is joined by The University of Texas at Dallas choirs for the regional premiere of “Magnificat”, a large-scale work for massed choir, orchestra, and soloists by Dallas-based composer, Taylor Scott Davis.

Joining the massed choir on stage will be internationally-renowned opera singer Frederica von Stade and a large festival orchestra. Other repertoire on this program includes Ralph Vaughan Williams’ beloved Fantasia on Christmas Carols among other selections.
