Paul Leenhouts was among the most prominent recorder players in Amsterdam and indeed in all of Europe, as a star with the Loeki Stardust ensemble, when he took the position of director of the Early Music Program at the University of North Texas several years ago. What a fabulous enhancement of the musical life of the Metroplex! He plays music of the Bach sons and their contemporaries.
