Overview

Lone Star Wind Orchestra presents

No Strings Attached

The Lone Star Wind Orchestra and the wind band have celebrated a special relationship with the symphony orchestra. Works written for orchestra have been reimagined for band and vice-versa, wind band works have found success as orchestra pieces. With composers Sir Malcolm Arnold, Dmitri Shostakovich, Lily Boulanger, Aaron Copland, and Leonard Bernstein, this concert takes famous orchestral works and removes the strings – a program of color and harmony for all to embrace!

Sunday, January 28, 2024 – 3pm
