Ballet North Texas (BNT), a shining star in the North Texas arts community, is celebrated for its exceptional performances, transformative dance training, and inclusive outreach programs. Under the visionary leadership of Artistic Director Nicolina Lawson, BNT excels in both classical and contemporary dance.
Established in 2017, BNT is recognized for its high female leadership and choreography, making it nationally sought out. The company is also a leader in accessible performance programming with initiatives such as the Sensory Friendly Performance and My First Classic Series. BNT is dedicated to making dance accessible to all, especially underserved and special needs children.
The company is made possible by support from individual donors, foundations, corporations, and government grants. Sponsors include Texas Commission on the Arts, City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture, Moody Fund for the Arts, National Endowment for the Arts, Communities Foundation of Texas, and Ruibal’s Plants of Texas.
