MarchOn – Band Classics and Marches

Band lovers unite as the Lone Star Wind Orchestra celebrates all things band with classics and marches as we March On on Sunday, April 23rd at Moody Performance Hall in Dallas.

Led by Music Director Eugene Migliaro Corporon, the LSWO will perform marches by Percy Grainger, Julius Fucik, and Paul Hindemith and include a rare opportunity to hear in its entirety American composer Morton Gould’s West Point Symphony.

LSWO trumpeters Eddie Jimenez and Megan Bailey will be featured on a concerto by Erik Morales, and educator Lynne Jackson will be honored at the concert, guest conducting a piece with the Lone Star Wind Orchestra. There will also be a special pre-concert performance by the St. Philip’s Percussion Ensemble.
