Ballet North Texas presents Winter Mix, a dynamic evening of contrasting works that span the serene and the electrifying.
The program features Pastoral, an original ballet by Artistic Director Nicolina Lawson, set to Beethoven’s expressive Symphony No. 6 — a tribute to nature, harmony, and classical grace. In sharp contrast, the evening surges with Frequency 434, choreographed by Mackenzie Jones, a bold and rhythm-driven work full of contemporary energy and physicality.
Together, these two works showcase the range and artistic depth of Ballet North Texas — honoring tradition while embracing bold new voices in dance.
