Join Ballet North Texas for My First Classic: The Nutcracker, a heartwarming and interactive introduction to one of the world’s most beloved holiday ballets. Designed for young audiences and first-time theatergoers, this one-hour performance features narrated excerpts from the full ballet, helping children follow Clara’s magical journey from the Christmas Eve party to the Kingdom of Sweets. 

Before the show begins, little ones will have the chance to stand up, move, and learn ballet pantomime, the expressive language dancers use to tell stories on stage. With vibrant costumes, approachable storytelling, and an open, welcoming environment, My First Classic offers the perfect way to discover the joy of live performance. 

Ideal for children, families, school groups, and anyone curious about ballet!
