This event will include a performance, and the opportunity for the audience to participate in the dances under the direction of Ms. Julia Bengtsson and other members of the New York Baroque Dance Company.

This event will include a performance, and the opportunity for the audience to participate in the dances under the direction of Ms. Julia Bengtsson and other members of the New York Baroque Dance Company. The performance will feature Ms. Bengtsson and Alan Jones’ reconstructions of Francis Johnson’s New Cotillions and other popular dances by Johnson. Their research was supported by a grant from the French Ministry of Culture through The Centre National de la Danse. We are also joined by Matthieu Peyregne de Motier, a descendant of Lafayette.
