Experience Spring with Beckles Dancing Company (BDC) at the South Dallas Cultural Center—beginning with free community workshops followed by an evening of powerful, culturally rooted dance.

The event opens with interactive workshops designed for all ages and experience levels, offering participants the opportunity to engage directly with movement, creativity, and cultural expression. No prior dance experience is required. These workshops are supported in part by the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.

Following the workshops, enjoy a dynamic performance featuring modern, contemporary, ballet, and West African dance works performed by BDC artists. The program highlights both new choreography and repertory pieces that celebrate storytelling, culture, and community.
