Handel’s great early oratorio La Resurrezione, which established his reputation in Rome when it was given at the palace of Marchese Francesco Ruspoli, with the finest singers and an orchestra led by Corelli himself. Zion Lutheran Church, 7:30PM. Soloists will include Anna Fredericka Poppova as Maddalena, David Grogan as Lucifer, Nicholas Garza as Cleofe, Tucker Bilodeau as San Giovanni, and Jillian Grace Anderson as the Angel. There is no chorus, except for a finale sung by all the characters.
