Overview

The 100 years, between 1450 and 1550 were a rich period of music in Spain with the appearance of Carlo V on the scene, bringing with him the glorious music of the Renaissance Low Countries, the Burgundians. As a complement to the Meadows Museum exhibition of Berruguete, we offer the works of the Valencian uncle and nephew, the Mateos Flecha; of Bartomeu Carceres, and Frenchman Clément Janequin.
