Overview

The invention of radio communication revolutionized connectivity and brought about some of the world’s most profound human moments. A mother and daughter, set apart by thousands of miles, communicating over long distance for the first time. The lost transcripts of Amelia Earhart as she was taken off her flight path, heard over the radio and recorded by a young Betty Klenck in 1937. Join us as we tell these powerful stories with synthesizer, pre-recorded audio, video projection, choir, and organ.
Introducing the WORLD PREMIERE of Betty’s Notebook by Nicholas Reeves, with generous permission to use text by TIGHAR and Richard E. Gillespie.

SONG OF FLIGHT, Howard Skempton
BETTY’S NOTEBOOK, Nicholas Reeves
MASS TRANSMISSION, Mason Bates
